Notes:
Absolutely phenomenal performance by this northern Californian reggae band.
It's hard to believe that a 10 member band of white, California jazz students
can sound so tight, not to mention capture the true spirit of Jamaican reggae
music. With his raspy yet melodic voice, lead singer Harrison Stafford seems
to channel Bob Marley's impassioned wailing with thoughtful, righteous and
conceptual lyrics. Both sets are full of thick, rich and hearty roots music,
while the second set features the band performing their latest album, "We
Free Again," from beginning to end. Some minor clipping is present on a few
tracks, but really doesn't diminish the excellent sound quality of this
recording. Another "must-have" recording brought to you by Rasta Cruz.
Enjoy and Share the vibes!
