Greetings and happy holidays everyone, this is Groundation's Winter 2008 blog post.....

What a year 2008 has been! Besides a lot of firsts (Israel, Poland, full coast-to-coast U.S. tour, brand new side project Rockamovya), there has also been a lot of the same (groundbreaking musical expression and good, conscious people passing along to us amazing energy). We thank you all again for helping to make these new experiences seem somehow familiar.

Groundation is currently using this break from touring to record their next full length album, scheduled for release in Spring 2009. With all that has happened in the world since Upon the Bridge, and Groundation's signature style of synthesizng worldy events into relative, pertinent music, expect this next album to be something truly special indeed. Oh, and don't be surprised if there are a few very special guests on this next release too...

Besides our first tour of the Domincan Republic at the end of January, we have just released the preliminary dates for our annual Bob Marley Tribute Tour. This year we are very pleased to have back with us legends Will Bernard (guitar) and Leroy "Horsemouth" Wallace (drums). We are also very pleased to announce that on a few of these Bob Marley dates, fans will be treated to a very rare Rockamovya performance. Stay tuned at www.Groundation.com for all of the updates.

Looking further into 2009, expect a lot more from us. Besides another huge European tour, in support of the new Groundation album, we will also be heading back to Greece & Israel in April. Also, look for us back in South America, with a long-anticipated Brazil/Argentina tour slated for March. On from there, we will be headlining some of the U.S.'s biggest late summer festivals and heading back east for another coast-to-coast U.S. tour in Fall of 2009.
