"Well I have been working on my album for a couple years and I am still not done.So i decided to release some singles.This album is called Fortunate Meridian. Basically I have been really lucky and fortunate to be involved in so many different musical circles.So every song has different guests that i have worked with over the years. This is the first song off the album.It is called "So far away"
.It features two outstanding vocalists, Rasun J Dinoto and former Groundation back ground singer Kerry Starr. It's a reggae groove i produced with a lot of live percussion.Congas,shakers.steel pan,etc.Special thanks to Edward Reed at Banyan St. Studios where i recorded most of the live instruments.And special thanks to Michael Ver Steegt for lending me a mic and head phones so i could record Kerry in France in my hotel room. Le chanteur a une voix originale,  je trouve que c'est pas mal. Je ne sais pas comment expliqué ça ! Mais je ressens que Mingo a travaillé avec Groundation dans sa composition (même si c'est différent programmé parfois à l'ordinateur) . Il y a quelque chose qui m'évoque "Time Come" dans le morceau. J'ai même ralenti le truc ça peut faire un bon roots !
